Fun atmosphere, lovely workout and some giggles. – Zhema Erasmus.
Excellent, professionally led classes in a safe environment. I highly recommend Alison’s classes for anyone looking for the alternative approach to fitness and bodyweight training. – Tracey Simmonds.
The Lyra Project is great! Having tried a number of studios to find somewhere that felt comfortable, I can very happily say that TLP feels like home. Awesome peeps, great instruction, and incredible professionalism makes this my studio of choice. I’ve been with them for a year and get withdrawal symptoms if I miss a class. I travel quite a bit, so the flexibility and range of classes available is also really great. I’m not one for “standard” sports, and thoroughly enjoy the combination of coordination, flexibility, and strength that comes with aerial fitness. Life is better upside down.. – Ross Saunders
I have been with the Lyra Project for about a year and a half. I specifically chose to do Aerial Hoop to challenge myself. I chose the Lyra Project, because not only is Alison constantly encouraging you but there is a feeling of team spirit. We all assist each other when someone is struggling to get something right, and we celebrate when that person got it right. The Lyra Project, where I went from “how do I do that”, to “I just did that”. – Mariska Smith
I’ve been with the Lyra Project for a little over two years now and absolutely loved it!. TLP helped me get a lot more upper body and core strength as well as a lot of confidence in being active. I love that the instructors focus on technique and conditioning to form a solid foundation to the moves and encourage you to reach higher. They are also very attentive and cater for the needs of the individual. I would definitely recommend giving them a try! – Rushka Venter
